Will your
sewer system meet our local standards for procurement and
maintenance? What if we don't have a standard?
The
SBS™ meets all established sanitary
sewer standards, and provides superior environmental performance. There
are recognized standards (such as the Ten-State Standards in
the NE United States) that define the generic effluent sewer
system and provide the specifications related to the basic
system components. In Ontario, the Ministry of the Environment
(MOE) has assembled file information on SBS™ that allows
them to review the system designs and approve them on an individual
basis. SBS™ is acknowledged by the MOE as having precedent
projects that have been designed and installed, with special
flow and chemistry standards. Standards from other jurisdictions
are available to municipalities that wish the inclusion of
effluent sewers as an optional solution for their communities.
User and operator manuals are supplied with each installation
to ensure that proper maintenance requirement can be followed.
