Clearford and Touchstone Announce Right-to-Use License Agreement to Implement the Small Bore Sewer™

Ottawa, Ontario – (April 13, 2007) – Clearford Industries Inc. ("Clearford", TSX-V: CLI) and Touchstone on Lake Muskoka Inc. ("Touchstone", www.touchstoneonlakemuskoka.com), today announced a right-to-use license agreement to implement the Small Bore Sewer™ (SBS™) wastewater collection system.

Touchstone is a $75 million four-season vacation real estate development on pristine Lake Muskoka. This project will consist of lakeside cottages and villas, all centred around the Touchstone Lodge, which will include a restaurant, a spa, an infinity pool and a fitness centre. When choosing a sewer system for this environmentally sensitive area, it was necessary for Touchstone to find a solution that offered zero infiltration, purity of discharge, as well as minimal disruption to the existing landscape; the SBS™ met these criteria, and will be installed in conjunction with a leading-edge wastewater treatment plant.

"This license agreement enables Touchstone to select an environmentally superior solution that is ideal for our premium development," said David Kalm, Vice President of Engineering for Touchstone. "Our Lake Muskoka project will utilize only the most innovative green methodologies."

"The Clearford method is applicable to the most exclusive developments within North America, yet is cost-effective as a retro-fit for basic properties such as trailer parks. Ultimately, the consistent outcome for big or small developments is to support and implement sustainable and responsible green infrastructure," stated Bruce Linton, President and CEO of Clearford. "This type of license agreement is extremely scalable to numerous applications, as it allows Clearford to enable the developer to implement Clearford's proven sewer design and technology."

The contract value of the Clearford-Touchstone license agreement is $250,000.
