06/15/2007 Clearford Announces Winner of $2,500 Charity Draw; Money to be Donated to Orangeville Branch of the OSPCA Ottawa, Ontario – (June 15, 2007) – Clearford Industries Inc. (“Clearford”, TSX-V: CLI) today announced the winner of a draw in which the prize was $2,500 that Clearford will donate to the charity of the winner’s choice. This promotion ran throughout two trade shows that Clearford exhibited at last year: the FCM Annual Expo in Montreal, and the AMO Annual Conference in Ottawa, where entrants submitted their business cards into a ballot box at Clearford’s booth. The winner, drawn at random, was Gail Campbell, a Councillor in Orangeville, whose charity of choice for the $2,500 donation is the Orangeville branch of the OSPCA (Ontario Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals). “When I entered the draw, I thought that Clearford Industries had the most unique and worthwhile prize offer that I’d ever seen,” said Mrs. Campbell. “I was delighted and honoured that I had won – but the very best part of winning was hearing the excitement in our Orangeville OSPCA Branch Manager’s voice when she learned that Clearford Industries was donating $2,500 to our animal shelter. Replaying that conversation in my mind just brings me joy.” Bruce Linton, President and CEO of Clearford said, “I am proud to be donating this money to such a worthy cause on behalf of Clearford and Mrs. Campbell. As Clearford promotes environmentally responsible infrastructure, we thought it would be more appropriate to donate money to charity, rather than giving away promotional items that would likely end up in a local landfill.” Mr. Linton of Clearford will be meeting with Mrs. Campbell at the Orangeville branch of the OSPCA at 12pm on Monday, June 18, 2007, for the $2,500 donation cheque to be handed over to the organization. Due to such positive feedback from trade show attendees, Clearford will be running the same “$2,500 draw for charity” promotion as an exhibitor at the upcoming AMO (Association of Municipalities of Ontario) Annual Conference, August 19-22, 2007 in Ottawa.
