11/02/2007 Clearford Announces Agreement to Implement the Small Bore Sewer™ at Ontario Seasonal Condominium Resort Ottawa, Ontario – (November 2, 2007) – Clearford Industries Inc. (“Clearford”, TSX-V: CLI) today announced a $1,013,800 agreement to install the Small Bore Sewer™ (SBS™) wastewater collection system along with a wastewater treatment plant for 140 connections at Loon Lake Resort (www.loonlakeresort.ca) in Madoc, Ontario. Loon Lake Resort is located approximately 60 km north of Belleville, Ontario, and consists of 150 hectares of land with 140 existing trailer sites and provisions for an additional 60 trailer sites to be developed. There is also an existing recreation hall, main wash station and log house to be connected to Clearford’s SBS™ system. When choosing a sewer for this development, it was necessary for the owners of Loon Lake to find a solution that provided a high degree of layout flexibility, was expandable, and would not require deep installation to maintain minimum slopes. The SBS™ system met these criteria, and will be installed using open trench installation which will result in minimal restoration required for the area. Installation of the SBS™ system will minimize or eliminate the need for rock excavation, blasting and excessive dewatering. “It was important for Loon Lake Resort to find a sewer solution that would enable future expansion, that eliminated the environmental issues associated with septic systems, and that was affordable,” said Peter Cougler, President of Loon Lake Resort Condo Corp. “I am looking forward to working with Clearford to make Loon Lake a green example for seasonal developments throughout the country.” “As baby-boomers become a growing segment of the population looking for affordable recreational property, seasonal resorts such as Loon Lake are going to have an increased presence and demand throughout Canada,” stated Bruce Linton, President and CEO of Clearford. “The environmental advantages of the SBS™ system translate into lower capital and operational cost for both the collection and treatment of sewage. As a result, we are able to service the park for less than $7,500 a door.” Forward-Looking Statements The TSX Venture Exchange does not accept responsibility for the adequacy or accuracy of this release.
