Clearford Announces Postponement of Annual General Meeting

Ottawa, Ontario – (May 21, 2008) - Clearford Industries Inc. (“Clearford”, TSX-V: CLI) today announced that they have requested and obtained a court order (the “Order”) to postpone their Annual General Meeting (AGM).

The purpose of the postponement is to have the AGM coincide with a special meeting of shareholders for the approval of a previously disclosed acquisition, whose material progress was announced in a press release on May 8, 2008. The AGM was originally set for June 18, 2008 and has been extended to a date to be fixed, but no later than November 30, 2008. The terms of this Order may be varied on the application of any interested shareholder of Clearford.
