Clearford Announces $300,000 Short-Term Financing with Insider Participation
Ottawa, Ontario – (July 3, 2019) – Clearford Water Systems Inc. (“Clearford” or the “Company”), (TSX-V:CLI), today announced the closing of a short-term financing round (the “Loans”) which has been approved by the TSX Venture Exchange.
The loans are unsecured and will be issued for a 6 month term maturing on December 31, 2019. $250,000 of the $300,000 loans were subscribed for by three insiders of the Company. Glenn Gold, Chairman, and Kevin Loiselle, President and CEO, each funded $100,000 of the loan. Wilf Stefan, COO, funded $50,000 of the loan. The loans bear a fixed borrowing cost equal to 10% of the principal balance and will be payable at the loan maturity date. The proceeds of the loan will be used for working capital and general corporate purposes.
